Archive of Ideas
What if humanity's future looks nothing like we imagine today? What role might technology, artificial intelligence, and nature play in shaping the world to come?
The Industrial Revolution concealed the open flame of fire within machines. Since then, technology—and many of our visions of progress—has been inseparable from the continuous burning of fossil fuels.
This educational programme accompanies Marriage of Flame with Flame, an exhibition by Slovak visual artist András Cséfalvay, whose work explores the intersections of ecology, technology, science, and speculative fiction. Through selected artworks, participants are invited to consider possible futures, reflect on humanity's relationship with technological progress, and imagine how life on Earth might continue to evolve.
Together, participants discuss topics such as artificial intelligence, evolution, and technological innovation. Through creative activities, they investigate these ideas, make unexpected connections between them, and build their own "archive of ideas" inspired by the exhibition.
The activities take place within the exhibition galleries and are closely connected to the works on display.
The programme is adapted to the age and specific needs of each participant group.
Duration: 60–90 minutes
